• • The leaves of tropical tree, Indigofera tinctoria, are the source of a blue-dye, known as Indigo, which is commonly used to dye fabrics, stones and hair. When used with natural henna powder it gives a dark brown to shiny black color.
  • Instructions
    • Make a paste with warm water in a metal container (and not a plastic container), wait for 5 minutes and apply all your hair to get violet color.
    • Wait for a few hours and wash off your hair.
    • Apply the same day or 1 or 2 days after applying henna to get black color hair. 
  • NOTE: The black coloring happens to most people but there is a small percentage of people who will not get the black color when Indigo powder is applied after henna powder. Applying Indigo without henna gives indigo color to white hairs and violet tinge to black hair.
